Description

1930s-80s BETTE DAVIS MAGAZINE COVERS & MORE Several vintage and modern items featuring legendary actress Bette Davis. Three vintage magazines, each in Good condition, featuring Davis on their covers: 'Cosmopolitan' (June 1938), 'Radio and Television Mirror' (January 1940), and 'Liberty' (February 1947). Also handful of Playbills featuring Miss Davis, mostly from the early 1960s, all in Very Good condition. A program from the Strand Theatre in 1939 referencing the film 'The Private Lives of Elizabeth and Essex' starring Davis and Errol Flynn. A 45rpm record from her film 'Whatever Happened to Baby Jane', featuring the title track and the B-side 'I've Written a Letter to Daddy' (Excellent condition, no scratches). Plus a dozen or so modern publications featuring Miss Davis, mostly tribute issues just before or after her death in the late 1980s.
